Bridgton Hospital provides women's primary health care through
its family practice, internal medicine and obstetrics/gynecology
physicians and nurse practitioners. It is our mission to ensure
that the highest quality women's health services are accessible
to all women. Our team provides women's health care throughout
the lifespan, from education about puberty changes and preventative
gynecological care through contraceptive counseling, obstetrical
care infertility, and the pen- and post-menopausal periods.
In addition to our outpatient services, our Obstetrician/Gynecologist
specializes in gynecologic surgeries.
Diagnostic services available at Bridgton Hospital include
mammography, breast and pelvic ultrasonography, pelvic CT
scanning, mobile DEXA (osteoporosis) scanning, and laboratory
testing including glucose, thyroid function and cholesterol
screening.
Bridgton Hospital is proud to sponsor several events every
year honoring women's special health needs, including an annual
Breast and Cervical Health clinic and free osteoporosis screening.
